1. Identify and target potential clients in need of logistics and transportation services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.
2. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
3. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the company€™s logistics services, including tailored solutions for different client needs.
4. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to adjust sales strategies and improve market positioning.
5. Lead the negotiation of service contracts, pricing, and terms, with a focus on closing profitable deals while maintaining client satisfaction.
6. Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and customized logistics solutions based on client requirements.
7. Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas by effectively managing a pipeline of leads and converting them into sales.
8. Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of services post-sale and maintain high service quality standards.
9. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress. Prepare regular sales reports for management.
10. Resolve any service or delivery-related issues promptly, ensuring the client is satisfied and minimizing disruptions to the logistics process.
11. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services and build the brand's presence in the market.
12. Stay updated on the latest logistics trends, technologies, and best practices to remain competitive in the marketplace and effectively respond to client needs.
