1. Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings. Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and new employees are integrated into the company.
2. Employee Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, job history, compensation, and performance evaluations. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
3. Payroll Assistance: Assist in the preparation of payroll by collecting and verifying timekeeping data, tracking employee attendance, and ensuring that all deductions and bonuses are applied accurately.
4. Employee Benefits Administration: Support the management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and enrollment processes.
5. Training & Development Support: Coordinate and schedule training sessions for employees, including safety training, skills development, and compliance programs. Maintain training records and assist in tracking employee progress.
6. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, issues, and concerns. Assist in resolving conflicts and providing support in addressing workplace grievances in a timely and professional manner.
7. Health and Safety Compliance: Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, facilitating safety training programs, and assisting with OSHA (or local regulatory body) compliance documentation.
8. Time and Attendance Management: Assist in tracking employee attendance, managing time-off requests, and ensuring that accurate records are maintained. Address attendance issues, such as tardiness or absenteeism, and report them to HR management.
